Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Steam Bang, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this application. Steam Bang is a desktop application that enables users to back up and sync Steam save game files to their personal Google Drive account.

Description of Service

Steam Bang provides the following core features:

  • Upload: Back up your Steam save game files to your personal Google Drive.
  • Read / Restore: Access and restore your backed-up save game files from Google Drive to your local machine.
  • Replace / Sync: Overwrite existing backup files with newer save game versions to keep your backups up to date.
  • Delete: Remove specific backup files from your Google Drive when they are no longer needed.

Google Account Authorization

To use the cloud sync features, you must authorize Steam Bang to access your Google account via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0). By granting this authorization, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Steam Bang will only access files it has created in a dedicated folder in your Google Drive.
  • You can revoke this authorization at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page.
  • Revoking access means Steam Bang will no longer be able to perform cloud sync operations until you re-authorize the application.
  • Your Google Drive storage usage may increase as save game backups are added. You are responsible for managing your Google Drive storage capacity.

Important: Steam Bang is not a backup solution provided by Google. The availability of your backed-up files depends on your Google account status and Drive availability. Steam Bang is not responsible for data loss caused by Google service interruptions or account termination.

User Account

When you authenticate with Steam Bang using Google Sign-In, you confirm that you are the authorized owner of the Google account used and that you have full rights to authorize access to the respective Google Drive storage.

Important: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. Never share your Google credentials with anyone.

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach through our contact page.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Steam Bang for any of the following purposes:

  • Any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or those of others
  • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's Google Drive or data
  • To engage in any automated use of the system or interfere with the proper working of the service
  • To use the Google Drive integration for storing content unrelated to Steam save games

License to Use

Steam Bang grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the application for your personal use only and as permitted by these Terms of Service. This license does not include:

  • • Any resale or commercial use of the service or its contents
  • • Any derivative use of the service or its contents
  • • Any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another party
  • • Any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools

Intellectual Property

The application and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Steam Bang and its licensors. Steam Bang is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam. All trademarks and brand names related to Steam are the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Steam Bang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
  • • Loss of Steam save game data stored on your Google Drive or local machine
  • • Interruption of Google Drive or Google Sign-In service availability
  • • Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
  • • Any content obtained from the service

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Steam Bang makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. Steam Bang is an independent application and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Valve Corporation (Steam) or Google LLC.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Your Google Drive files created by Steam Bang will remain in your Google Drive and are not deleted upon account termination.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
